“Love isn’t a state of perfect caring... To love someone is to strive to accept that person exactly the way he or she is, right here and now.” - Mister Rogers

A bit about me:

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families re-author their life narratives toward healing and wholeness. With over 18 years of experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs, and more than two decades in Christian ministry, I bring a compassionate, systems-informed approach to therapy with the ability to integrate spirituality.

I hold space for:

Teens, Men’s Issues, Couples, Parenting, Family Struggles, Infertility, Identity, Porn Addiction, Anxiety, Depression, Issues of Faith, Leadership, and Work Performance Issues

Credentials & Education:

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgia State University

Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Toccoa Falls College

I am a proud recipient of the 2024 Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (GAMFT) Christus Powell Minority Fellowship and an active member of GAMFT’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

I am trained in systems theory, attachment theory, and related modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Structural Therapy, Solution-Focused, and CBT. I am a Prepare/Enrich certified facilitator and have experience in pre-marital/marital counseling, college counseling, and correctional chaplaincy.

When I’m not in the Therapist’s Chair

You will most often find me spending time with my wife, daughter, and son. I enjoy traveling. Georgia is home now, but I like to go back to my birth state of Louisiana to see family and, of course, to have some Creole food. I love making and listening to music, watching movies, and getting into a good TV show.
