Grounded in Care.

A 6-hr or two-day workshop.

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, trauma-informed assessments that integrate students’ cultural, spiritual, social, and intergenerational identities, while considering the impact of stigma.

  • Apply culturally aligned interventions and coping strategies using narrative therapy, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-responsive approaches to foster resilience, support emotional regulation, and promote student and counselor well-being in the context of socio political stressors.

  • Integrate self-awareness and apply a decolonized lens to conceptualize student behavior, trauma responses, and family context, and to develop culturally attuned interventions within school settings.
