"Supervision is not about expertly navigating every challenge, but about courageously facing them, for it is in the crucible of uncertainty that true competence is forged."

Supervisory Education, Experience & Approach
Supervision Approach
I utilize a reflective supervision model designed to create the conditions for thoughtful, intentional clinical work. My goal is to cultivate an environment where you can engage in your best thinking—one grounded in safety, calm, curiosity, and support.
In our work together, we will explore both the clinical and emotional dimensions of your cases. This includes making space for the full range of responses that arise in the work—both positive and challenging. Through collaborative reflection, we identify patterns, deepen insight, and determine clear, ethical next steps.
Reflective supervision is distinct from therapy. While emotional awareness is an important part of the process, our focus remains on your professional role, clinical decision-making, and the impact of your work with clients.
Developmental Framework
My supervision is informed by the developmental model outlined by Ronnestad and Skovholt (2003), which emphasizes continuous reflection as central to professional growth.
Research highlights a strong relationship between how clinicians navigate challenges within the therapeutic relationship and their overall development. In practice, this means our work will focus not only on what to do in session, but also on how you process, respond to, and learn from the complexities of clinical care.
Experience & Credentials
I completed a 22-hour clinical supervision certificate program through the National Association of Social Workers in 2018, as well as advanced training in Culture and Diversity Considerations in Supervision (2022). While formal certification is not required to provide clinical supervision in Georgia, this training reflects my commitment to ethical, informed, and culturally responsive practice.
Since 2016, I have provided individual and group supervision to master’s-level interns and associate clinicians pursuing licensure in outpatient settings. I continue to engage in regular consultation with experienced clinical supervisors to support ongoing growth and accountability in my work.
My supervision is grounded in the standards of the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists and guided by the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics.
